6Wyoming Electrical JATC

About the School

Wyoming Electrical Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee is a cooperative training effort between the National Electrical Contractors Association and the Local Unions #322 and #415 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

JATC works with contractors throughout the State of Wyoming for the on-the-job training part.

A minimum of 8,000 hours of on-the-job training and four years of extensive classroom training are provided to prepare students for the Journeyman exam.

Apprentices receive competitive wages, pension plans, and a comprehensive family medical plan.

Applicants must meet the following requirements for the apprenticeship:

  • Be at least 18 years of age at the time of application
  • Show proof of one credit in algebra with a passing score or completing the NJATC Tech Math Course
