Becoming a plumber takes years of work, but it’s well worth the effort.
Once you have apprenticed under a master plumber for at least 3 years, you can take your journeyman plumber exam, and then apply for your journeyman license.
The exam is open book, and you’ll have 5 hours to complete the 100-question test.
Before taking the exam, you should test your knowledge with your practice exam.
The exam includes topics you’ll see on the journeyman plumber exam, including fixtures, venting, administrative policies, sanitary drainage systems, and indirect and special wastes.
